St. Georges' Tree

St. Georges church, downtown Owen Sound, Ontario Canada... this is a section of the little garden walk that surrounds the front half of the church property. The church itself is off to the left of this scene, the highway borders the right, a park/ball diamond to the rear and a residential street just behind me. ( i have a photo of the church itself, but its just a bland old photo...beautiful church, but nothing about the picture that jumps at you..)

I was told that this little garden is used for cremated remains.. although I saw no sign of anything that would suggest this, it is a beautiful spot.

Every now and then I get hit by the photography bug and head out to see what I can find. This was taken during a round of shots of old buildings and churchs. I'm drawn to trees... trees in certain settings just call to me.. and this one did. The colours and the setting just tugged at me.
